Maybe not in first half of the 2010s decade and maybe not for the whole 2010s decade for some people but for the 2020s decade and going forward I think that vtubers will be an important part of YouTube in some shape or form. Vtubers also work for Twitch.tv if they stream on that platform and if twitch allows Vtubers on their platform.

But since Vtubers was new during the 2010s decade some people weren't crazy about it and probably thought it would go away but with the way technology is going I strongly believe Vtubers are here to stay for the long term as long as there's a fan base for them or unless the government decides to ban it. But what ever government decides to ban it might lose their jobs in the following elections due to the popularity of Vtubers in my opinion.

But since YouTube's CEO stepped down and YouTube is getting a new CEO I don't see Vtubers leaving the new CEO liked all the former CEOs ideas.

As of 2023? VR Gaming is still brand new I don't see it getting as upgraded and advanced for at least 20-50 years from now. Because real VR Gaming just came out 10 years ago. There was a VR Headset Nintendo launched in the 1990s but it was discontinued.

Nintendo is copying Google but as long as you got a device but can't afford a good VR Headset in the year 2023 get a cardboard headset and install a Google VR Headset app. (You might not need too if you own a Google Pixel Smart Phone)

But I wouldn't recommend Google Pixel Smart Phones to anyone unless your a hardcore google user. Because you can just link your Pixel Phone to a Chromebook or Google Pixel Laptop. (The Pixel Smart Phone is ok at gaming and the Chromebook/Pixel Laptop sucks at gaming.) At best all you can game on Chromebooks/Pixel Laptops is on the google playstore. So don't invest in Pixel Devices if your a hardcore gamer.

But are VTubers relevant? As of right now I'd say No. But the reason why I am voting Yes is because one day VR Gaming will be even more involved in the Video Gaming community then it is today. And more Vtubers will pop up on Youtube.

And maybe one day in the future Vtubers and VR Gaming will have a better place in the Video Gaming Community. But as of now they are just in the early stages of becoming Relevant.

What I mean is Vtubers are going to be like the video game players of the New Video Game Market. If you remember the Atari when it first came out as a Global Video Game Home Console. That's what VR Gaming is going to be for the next Generation of Gaming.
