When it comes to moderators doing their job I always hope immediately but sometimes it takes a few days unfortunately.

When it comes to moderators doing their job. I always hope they go through their reports immediately. But in some cases it may take a few days depending on how busy moderators are irl. (Unless it's a paid moderator it will probably be immediately to a few hours) But a volunteer moderator it will probably be a few days to a few weeks. Because real life comes first if your a volunteer moderator.

Depending on the situation I'd hope immediately if it is worth a ban. Moderators on every website and MMO Game who don't do their job only endangers the chat logs for the people who use their website or chat that allows you to hire volunteer moderators for like your live streaming for example.

I'd hope all people knows this but hopefully you hire a moderator who isn't power hungry with their moderator powers. I do a screening when a hire volunteers to become a moderator for anything I need a moderator volunteer for. And I fire people if they mess around or misuse their moderator powers.

If your a volunteer moderator be prepared for unpaid work and if you can't do it you should consider resigning. Paid moderators are usually people who are 18+ who go to work at a company. I just don't recommend hiring a kid to be a volunteer moderator on any website. Just ask yourself would you trust a kid to read reports and dish out appropriate punishment's? I'd trust a teenager volunteer moderator over a kid but just my opinion.

But I'd always hope a moderator regardless of they are paid or a volunteer to take immediate action when reading reports. If the user finds it unfair they should make a claim and provide evidence why it was an unfair ban otherwise take the punishment and be done with it and move on.
