I guess maybe to a point. If it was for hacking or cheating or botting then no. If it was just to open private servers then give the owner of the private server admin commands since they'd own the server then I guess it would be up to the developer of the game. But for now I'm voting No.

^^^^ Just to let you know not every game developer is fond of letting players run private servers. Just ask Disney and Blizzard Entertainment. (Soon Blizzard Entertainment is going to be owned by Microsoft since Microsoft is buying Activision Blizzard and they own Blizzard Entertainment FYI)

Or if you play Roblox you can find games where some games let you make a private servers, and some sell them on a monthly subscription, and some just let you make them for free of charge. (As a Former Roblox Player who failed at making makes on Roblox Studio I tried out other Roblox Games and some Roblox Game Staff were more strict then others. My only advice for Roblox Players is don't buy Admin Commands they are a scam.

There are some cheap one's on some game's in some Roblox Game Communities where you need admin by buying it or earning it through an application process. (Again not worth it in my opinion but if you like those types of games check it out but the HR Staff on those types of games are strict usually.

But now that I've looked into Soulcalibur I'm changing my vote to Yes. Older Games usually seem to work on Mobile now or can be uploaded to Steam if the Developers want too. Just Checkout Rockstar Games. They uploaded plenty of old games to mobile app stores.

^^^^^ I know people will ignore this anyway but just a disclaimer you must be 17+ to play Grand Theft Auto.

But yeah like I've said. If it's an old game I strongly support emulation because why let old games die off in history when they can be rebuild for mobile devices and the app store or maybe uploaded to the online PC Store like Steam for example?

But otherwise yeah I strongly support emulation for any type of old game as long as it's good. Good Games deserve to be emulation for newer devices.
